Have a great time in our inn! Our guest areas invite you to relax and to enjoy our friendly atmosphere. Our kitchen serves Swabian specialities and is open until 9.30 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday. On Monday, our kitchen is closed.
What we guarantee: Everything we cook is 100 percent fresh. Because we keep our own pigs, the meat is of excellent quality. We are also famous for our traditional slaughter days throughout the region and for the Zahler Hoffeste (courtyard parties) with “ox on the spit”. You can not only sleep and eat in our inn, but also celebrate festivities like birthdays or weddings up to 150 people.
Our inn offers something really special: We are part of the „Schwäbische Kartoffelwirte” (Swabian potato landlords). We have committed ourselves to potatoes and offer campaigns and special dishes with potatoes.
About 40 guests can be seated in our restaurant with the character of an „old rural pub” and they can also enjoy their meals outside on our terrace when the sun is shining.
Our inn also offers enough space to celebrate birthdays, weddings, all anniversaries. About 150 people can eat, dance and have fun in our banquet hall, which is the perfect room for large celebrations.
Our inn also provides further rooms for smaller celebrations. One room can be used for celebrations with about 40 people, another one which is furnished with a lot of wood for about 70 guests.
Our hotel has 18 modern and spacious rooms. They are equipped with television, telephone, free Wifi and shower/WC. While planning the rooms, we especially focused on accessibility, which was very important for us.

The former „Traubenwirths Sölde” is ran by the family Zahler in the fifth generation now. The chronicle of our family:
|»||1847 Landlord Melchior Zahler buys the inn for 14.000 guilders.|
|»||1877 His son Johann – landlord and brewer – takes over the inn and expands it with a brewery.|
|»||1904 The brewer and farmer Balthasar Zahler takes over the inn, later followed by his widow Anna.|
|»||1942 Until this year, the „Traube” as it is even called today was a real brew pub.|
|»||1952 The rear brewery wing is torn down and a new top floor is built, which will be later used as banquet hall.|
|»||1953 Their first son Balthasar takes over the inn.|
|»||1981 Today’s owner Balthasar Zahler and his wife Marlene take over the inn.|
|»||1982 Extensive renovations take place.|
|»||1993 They expand the inn with a hotel building.|
